A Low-cost Inertial Rail Track Positioning Technology Based on Distributed Optical System Assistance

Abstract The low-cost MEMS inertial system is difficult to achieve high-precision measurement for path track, which decreases accuracy of output. Aiming at this problem, a distributed optical track assisted the scheme proposed in paper. Firstly, positional relationship sub-modules pre-calibrated on test track. Secondly, position and speed are calculated by processing time difference photoelectric interruption. In system, used measure attitude, speed, information. Subsequently, data fused extended Kalman filter algorithm. To verify feasibility scheme, short rail experimental platform built an indoor environment. Compared with gyroscope, result shows that error divergence can be effectively suppressed. positioning reach centimeter level results experiment.
